Teaching...

...it 'ain't' what it used to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIGH! Please Dear Lord, Help me have the patience that is needed to get through this week. Please give me an optimistic outlook on ALL of these silly assessments. Please give me the extra energy I need tomorrow to wake up, get out of bed, drive to work and ASSESS, ASSESS, ASSESS!!!

PS- God, please help my district take away some of these assessments so that I can actually TEACH!!!

Amen!!!

Have a good week. Next week is our testing week and I am just dreading it. I agree, if they would take away some of the test, I might be able to teach!

I am right there with you. This week & next are testing weeks in Illinois. Unfortunately, my assessment days are the first two days - today & tomorrow. Not good considering we had a state holiday yesterday. So you can imagine how wound up my 7th graders were today. NOT GOOD!

Hang in there. We'll get through it, one way or another!

Sorry all those assessments are taking the fun out of your job. No doubt your kiddos are feeling the same way. Ours are starting soon.

Spring break is coming up quickly! Hooray!!!
