Keeping it real

So, this is two posts in one day, but if I don't get this off my chest, I could possibly burst. I guess I forgot what it was like to be a preteen 12 year old. I remember my mom always told me how difficult I was, but I never thought too much of it...that is, until now. Geez louise, hormones are in full effect and with those come eye rolling, closing bedroom doors (and trying to lock them...not successfully I may add), talking back, etc...

Please, someone please tell me that we will survive the next few years unscathed and still smiling! Ugh! Tough night!

If anyone can graciously and lovingly guide Paige through the teen years, I know it is you, Missy. As difficult as it is, you and your mom are the perfect people to help her through this phase of her life. (((hugs)))

I feel your pain.... we are experiencing the same thing with Nick.... although I think it is a littl more difficult with the tween girls than the boys.

You will survive...she is just testing the waters. Hang in there!

Luv Ya~

Oh honey, I am with ya. Will is 13 and in 7th grade but yesterday I bought...Parenting your teenager with Love and Logic because I am losing it with him! I think middle school can be tough.

Y'all will get through it.

Oh I remember those times all too well, and am dreading them already. I know from 12-14 my Mom and I could barely be in the same room without arguing. Hang in there. You will survive and in the long run you will be even closer. Sending you hugs across the miles. :)
