I'm SO excited!

I woke up this morning realizing that in just a few short weeks I will be on my way to meet this talented lady and this dear friend in Atlanta for the Pixel Fairy Princess Workshop!!! To say I am excited is a HUGE understatement. I have been in a photography slump lately. Paige is so kind and always tolerates me photographing her, but I am inspired to take pictures of other things, as well. I have had the privelege over the past few months to photograph several families. The pictures turned out alright (and the families seemed to love them), but to me, the pics didn't have that "wow" factor. Everytime I see Deb's photos, she leaves me saying "Wow". I can't wait to learn a few tips from a pro.

I have a photography blog and I will share it one day soon when I have some more work to share. Right now it is all still a work in progress.

I am excited to learn about catchlights and angles and posing...oh my! : )

Well...you just left probably the kindest comment I've EVER received on my blog. Thank you Missy. I'm so happy we've 'met' this year. I consider you a friend and wish you only the best in this new year.

And how cool that you're going to Atlanta to meet Lisa! I'm a little envious though I am enrolled in the May class in Ann Arbor and will be meeting 2 or 3 blog friends. You have such a natural talent for photography Missy and I know you'll get better and better. I look forward to your photography blog someday when you wish to share it.

hugs,
Gail

My husband gave me some photography classes for Christmas - so hopefully I will learn a few things. That is on my resolution list:) Hope Paige is doing well - she looks cute as ever. Guess you are probaby going back to school tomorrow - hope the first day back is a good one and hope the new year brings you lots of happiness!!!!!

Yeah for you!! I'm going to the one in Michigan, but it's not until May. I'm excited to meet at least one good Bloggy friend up there. I hope to find out some more are attending.

Sounds fun! Hope you learn a lot!

Can't wait to see your photography blog. You have some of the most amazing pictures. What new things will you learn next?!

As a teacher I can relate to your resolution of leaving everything at school. If we don't take time for ourselves & our families, school consumes our lives. Don't do it!!! Those papers & projects will still be there the next day!!! I'm right there with ya!

You guys are going to have so much fun in the workshop!!! i am trying to figure out a way to do the one in Austin. It is very difficult to get away for the weekend though.

I hope Paige's eye is okay. I will say a prayer on that one. Please let us know. I think she'll be as cute as ever in glasses. Do you read CHris and Deb's blog "Sophie's World?" She looks so adorable in hers!

I totally relate to your comment about living more in the moment nad less behind the lens. Sometimes, i just don't even bring my camera. That way I can just be....

Hope the back to school transition went well.
